Mikyra, a youth in our Dare to Dream™ program, gave a speech that was a highlight of the evening. As soon as she stepped on stage, you could feel the energy in the room shift. Her words were nothing short of inspiring as she spoke of defying the odds and overcoming the challenges that life had thrown her way. It was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do and why it matters.
The goal of the evening was clear - to raise critical funds that would allow us to reach and serve more children and youth in our programs - because the data is clear. Our programs are changing the way children, youth, and families are experiencing foster care, and it's all thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. |
