Bria was born and raised in Queens, NY and is currently a sophomore at Lafayette College pursuing an A.B. in Psychology and Spanish. After starting college in Fall 2019, she decided to put her education on pause in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and discovered Austin Angels. She spent the Fall semester of 2020 learning the ins and outs of the organization as an intern with the support of Kathleen, her supervisor. After months of growth and big projects, Bria was offered to continue her work as a National Angels Program Fellow! She is a huge believer in the importance of family and having strong circles of support, and is so proud and grateful to be able to help those in the foster care community find their cheerleaders.
