TAVIA HRABOVSKY

Likes: Red wine, queso, rich conversation, baby girl clothes (and bows!), hobby lobby, laughing till I cry, friends, family, pinterest addict, DIY crafter, thrift & garage sale shopper.
Dislikes: Cleaning the house, spiders, pumping gas, negativity.

Tavia graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from Texas State University and served as a teacher in a Title I school for several years. She taught 3rd and 4th grade for eight years in Hays CISD, including four years as a 4th grade teacher in the STEM magnet program at Carpenter Hill Elementary. Dealing with the day to day needs of children who live in poverty provided her with the needed heart and skills to oversee and take part in the expansion of the Love Box program. Tavia is a founding member of Austin Angels and has been with the organization since day one. She is wholly dedicated to improving the lives of children served by Austin Angels.

Tavia now dedicates her time to her husband, Justin, their two children, Hollis (3) and Huck (18 months), and Austin Angels.  She is expecting her third child in March of 2018. She is passionate about sharing the mission of Austin Angels with anyone and everyone.  From meeting one-on-one with the First Lady of Texas to speaking at foster-to-adopt conferences, Tavia is dedicated to our cause and educating others about how they can get involved. ​
